The President Speaks
March 23, 2012: During the announcement of the nomination of Dartmouth College President Jim Yong Kim for president of the World Bank, Barack Obama spoke about the Trayvon Martin case. "When I think about this boy, I think about my own kids," said the President. "And I think every parent in America should be able to understand why it is absolutely imperative that we investigate every aspect of this and that everybody pulls together, federal, state and local to figure out exactly how this tragedy happened." He added, "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon." Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner is seen standing next to the President.
