"I'm not angry," James Bain, 54, (above right) told reporters on December 16, 2009, as he was released from a Florida prison after a DNA test showed he did not kidnap and rape a 9-year-old boy in Lake Wales, Fla., in 1974 (Bain in 1974 above left). Bain served 35 years of the life sentence he received for the crime. According to the Innocence Project, of the 245 people exonerated by DNA testing, none had spent more time behind bars than Bain.
