Sweet Revenge
March 19, 2009: An Internet prank to get back at an ex-boyfriend backfired when the prank's perpetrator was arrested on charges of identity theft. Kari Heath, 20, of Strum, Wisc., allegedly posted an ad on Craigslist's "Casual Encounters" section posing as Joseph Strasburg, 24, her former beau. The ad, complete with photos of Strasburg, encouraged gay men to call him at work and "talk dirty to him." After receiving a phone call from one such dirty talker, Strasburg called police, and Heath, who admitted posting the ad, was arrested.
