Drunk Husband Kills Wife
Drunk Husband Kills Wife
The move towards prohibition began long before the 1920s, and is owed in large part to women who were unhappy with the way their liquored-up husbands treated them and their children. The caption to this image from 1884 reads, "Through he constant use of liquor he loses, at times, all control of himself and in one of these moments kills his wife."
