Bose, Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office
Bose, Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office
On September 9, 2009, Jace Dodd (pictured) was pulled over by an Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office deputy for a routine traffic violation. The deputy noticed that Dodd was intoxicated and asked him to step out of the car. Once out of the car, Dodd started struggling with the deputy, who was assisted by K-9 officer Bose. Dodd allegedly put Bose in a choke hold and started to strangle him. Bose was able to free himself and subdue Dodd with a few well-placed bites. Dodd was treated for the bite wounds, while Bose was reportedly uninjured. Dodd was arrested and charged with mistreating/interfering with a police animal, resisting arrest and D.U.I.
