Rhodes Rage
Rhodes Rage
Fox 13's Good Day Tampa Bay co-anchor Russell Rhodes had a rather embarrassing run-in with the law on January 20, 2009, when, after being stopped for allegedly driving recklessly in a parking garage, he emerged from his vehicle with his pants and belt undone. According to the off-duty deputy who stopped him, Rhodes appeared to be intoxicated and repeatedly tried to walk away despite being told not to. The deputy asked Rhodes to give him the key to his car, which Rhodes refused to do, resulting in the scuffle that led to the injuries apparently in Rhodes' mugshot. Though he briefly remained off the air until his face healed, Rhodes continues to work for Tampa's Fox 13.
