CHRISTIAN LONGO
CHRISTIAN LONGO
With his boyish good looks, well-spoken demeanor and religious upbringing, Christian Longo seemed an unlikely candidate for the FBI's Ten Most Wanted list. But when the bodies of his wife and three small children were discovered floating in waters near their Newport, Ore., home, Longo vanished and quickly became the prime suspect. Authorities found him in Mexico, where he had been staying on a beach impersonating a New York Times travel writer. He was tried and sentenced to death in 2003.
