Casino Mogul Murder Case
Rick Tabish
Rick Tabish
Ted Binion met struggling entrepreneur Rick Tabish (pictured) in a restaurant bathroom in 1998, and the two became fast friends. Binion hired Tabish when he sought to hide his silver fortune from his sister.

Binion, who had a longterm heroin addiction, had his gaming license revoked and lost control of the casino to his sister, Becky. In an attempt to avoid losing his silver, which he stored inside the casino, he commissioned Tabish to build an underground vault at his Pahrump, Nev., ranch big enough to accommodate 46,000 pounds of the precious metal.

Tabish, 33, whose wife and two young children were still living in Montana, began an affair with Murphy.
