Non-Emergency 911

Two Palm Coast, Fla., teens were arrested on February 21, 2010, for burglarizing a car outside the Lollipops nightclub in Daytona Beach. Police were tipped off when one of the suspects accidentally dialed 911 during the course of the robbery. Officers quickly moved into the area while dispatchers listened to Stephanie Vargas, 19, and Kristian Amezquita, 13, discuss the difference between items that were worth taking and items that should be left behind while rummaging through the vehicle. Vargas and Amezquita were each charged with one count of burglary of a conveyance. Amezquita was released to a parent, but Vargas was held on $5,000 bond.
