Police Consider Possibility of Serial Killer in Detroit

Authorities in Detroit announced on December 20, 2012, that they are considering the possibility of a serial killer in their area, after more cubes of human flesh were found in a local sewer.

Last week, contractors working in the Sterling Heights area of Detroit, Mich., found a dozen body parts in a sewer about 50 feet below street level. “There were maybe a dozen softball-sized pieces of a body,” said Sterling Heights Police Department Lt. Luke Riley. With very little information to go on, police are hoping a tattoo will help identify the victim.
