Family Believes Sexual Orientation Was Motive for Murder of Gay Teen

Terrance “Jawan” Wright, 18, had recently transferred to a new high school in Chicago’s Far South Side, to escape the bullying he endured at his old school. On October 19, Wright was fatally shot after police say five teens tried to rob him. Wright’s family believes that his sexual orientation was the reason for his killing.
