Police in East Lampeter Twp. are searching for suspects involved in what seems like a classic drive-by shooting with a twist. Drive-by shootings are usually a more urban phenomenon associated gang rivalries. This shooting was aimed at an Amish family in their horse and buggy. Luckily, the only one injured was the horse. Sadly, it died.
The scary part is, these are just the weird ones.
On August 14, 2013, a little after midnight, Jeremy Mouton, who had been drinking heavily at an establishment called the Cowboy’s Saloon, was intoxicated enough that he decided it was time to ride his horse around inside the bar — refreshingly, this did not happen in Texas, it happened in Louisiana.
In the second report in a month of men sexing up barnyard animals in Florida, Patrick Louis Linn was arrested on September 30, 2012, after a surveillance camera caught him having sex with a stud horse. Strangely enough, Linn knew about the security cameras, because he was caught by those same cameras, doing the same thing, in 2010.
A South Carolina man is behind bars for allegedly shooting two horses — one fatally. According to deputies, Kendrick Martinez Culp, 24, was showing another man, known as “Juicy,” a .22 rifle when he shot a 12-year-old male horse and a 25-year-old female quarter horse, both of which belonged to another man.
