Today in Crime History: Claus von Bulow’s Second Trial Draws to a Close

On June 5, 1985, the prosecution and defense made their closing arguments to the jury that would acquit Claus von Bulow of attempting to murder his wife Sunny. She had fallen into a permanent vegetative state after being given an overdose of insulin. Von Bulow, a wealthy socialite, was convicted at his first trial but that verdict was later overturned.
