Watch: Seattle bus commuters take down armed robber

Dramatic surveillance footage has emerged of passengers on a Seattle Metro bus on November 25, 2013, standing up against a robber who was taking cell phones at gun point. Not only do they fight back, but they also disarm and hold the assailant for police, at one point forming an impressive pile on top of the robber.

Those not involved in the melee quickly got off the bus.

On December 16 the alleged assailant, Trevonnte Brown, 19, of Seattle, Washington, pleaded not guilty to charges of robbery. If convicted he faces as many as 15 years in prison. Bail was set at $350,000.
