Video: Dramatic surveillance footage of Paul Walker crash

Video still of flaming wreck.

Star of the Fast & Furious movie franchise and philanthropist Paul Walker, 40, died Last Saturday, November 30, 2013, while riding shotgun in his friend Roger Rodas’ Porsche Carrera GT. In the accident, Rodas died of multiple traumatic injuries and Walker died of the “combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries,” according to the L.A. Coroner’s office.

An amateur videographer took some footage of the flaming wreck in the aftermath of the crash, (shown at left) but nothing compares to the surveillance footage of the impact, even though it was shot from behind a stand of trees.

Some officers on the scene reportedly said that it looked like speed was a factor. The following surveillance footage, which shows the extreme violence of the actual impact, seems to support that belief.
