Listen: 911 calls from the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting

On December 14, 2012, Adam Lanza, 20, shot 28 people, killing 20 children and six adults at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, before turning the gun on himself. Nearly one year later, after a legal battle between the town and the state Freedom of Information Commission, a judge ruled to release the 911 calls. The town dropped it’s appeal to the verdict, and the tapes are now available to the public, including seven made from inside the school during the shooting.
