The Chicago Transit Authority has released a photo of a woman seen riding the Blue Line on Friday, November 1, 2013, at around 1:17 a.m. with an alligator. She reportedly got on at the Pulaski station and got off at the O’Hare airport at 2:17. At 2:44 she was back at the airport train station without the little gator.

The alligator was found by an unnamed traveler, who saw it stuck under an escalator and notified airport personnel. Security was able to catch the young reptile by scooping it up with a broom. They held it until the local herpetological society arrived to rescue the reptile.
