Police called for Jell-O theft

It’s a common office problem: items going missing from the communal refrigerator. Usually, it’s dealt with in-house. But not in Upper Macungie, Pennsylvania where a man called police when his strawberry Jell-o disappeared from the break room.

The 39-year-old male complainant called the cops on October 10. 2013 to report his stolen snack. He told officers that this was not the first time his food had gone missing. The victim is an employee at Wakefern, a grocery wholesaler — as, presumably, is the perpetrator.

The case of the Breakroom Bandit remains unsolved at this time. Upper Macungie Township Police Department sources told KYW-TV “the incident remains under investigation.”
