Robber Returns Money with Apology Note 11 Years Later

Somboon Wu was working at his family’s Nashville, Tennessee, store, the Interasian Market and Deli, when an unidentified man walked in a handed him an envelope containing $400 and this note:

Wu and his father, Keosavanh Xayarath, posted the note and shared about the uplifting experience on Instagram and Twitter, later telling the man through the media, “We just want to let him know if he’s watching, wherever life takes you, we forgive you for what you did.”

He also said, ”It’s amazing. It’s inspirational, really. Even though it’s hard sometimes, we need to give people a second chance.”
