If you vomit on someone’s dog, etiquette dictates that you apologize and offer some moist towelettes. What you shouldn’t by any means do, is bust out a gun and open fire.
An unnamed 41-year-old man was walking his previously unpuked-on pet around 10 p.m. on Tuesday night. That’s when Phoenix cops say 22-year-old Anthony Jamar Houston upchucked from a second-story balcony, drenching the dog. Understandably, the dog owner engaged Houston in an argument, words were exchanged. Houston reportedly came downstairs, and the alleged victim retreated to his apartment.
Instead of letting it go, police say Houston followed the man and shot him just as he reached his door. He also shot two children — a 14-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy — who were inside. All survived the attack: the man was hospitalized in critical condition and the children were treated for minor injuries and released.
Houston is charged with three counts of aggravated assault, three counts of endangerment, one count of discharging a firearm at a residence, and one count of being a prohibited possessor with a firearm.
