Cop’s Flatulence Leads Police to Huge Pot Growing Operation

Though no one is officially calling it Operation Silent But Deadly, police sources have confirmed that the overwhelming gassiness of one unnamed officer in Leicester, England, is being credited with a huge pot bust.

The windy officer in question had recently started working out and in the interest of weight lifting had switched to a high protein diet — too suddenly it would seem. The new diet was apparently not only wreaking havoc with his digestive system, but with his partners’ ability to be in the same squad car with him with the windows closed.

The officer was so gassy in fact that they were constantly rolling down the windows and gasping for air. The Police Federation’s magazine reports that once the windows were open they smelled marijuana, “They asked their colleague in the back what he had been eating, and after fits of giggles and denials, they realized the cannabis smell was in the air in the street outside.” The officers’ suspicions were piqued, and they followed the distinct odor to its source. there they found a crop of marijuana worth about $19,000 (£12,000).

In case you were wondering, a police source did confirm, “It was a good collar, and it was all down to this officer and his flatulence.”
