On Tuesday, three suspects attempted to rob some people at a gas station outside São Paulo, Brazil. Two approached their targets, a pair of gas station attendants, while a third waited in a getaway car. In the middle of rifling through the pockets of a victim, 25-year-old Luiz Antônio Teixeira collapsed and died. ”In the excitement of the assault, his heart could not resist,” said local policeman Edson Gianuzzi. Teixeira’s mother said her son had suffered heart problems since childhood.
In the video, Teixeira’s accomplice tries to wake him up, and eventually, the station attendants haul the body off to the side. The dead man’s two accomplices dumped his body nearby and fled. They were arrested Friday.
