A 911 call made on November 28, 2012, by Father Tom Donovan of Springfield, Ill., pastor of St. Aloysius Church, has gone viral. The gagged priest called 911 from inside the church saying that he needed help getting out of a pair of handcuffs, “before this becomes a medical emergency.” Donovan did not give his name to the incredulous 911 operator.

Listen to the call:

Why the Catholic Priest was alone in the church, wearing a leather-type bondage mask with a metal-bar gag, playing with handcuffs remains a mystery. Donovan was granted a leave of absence to deal with personal issue. His whereabouts at this time are unknown.
