In Argentina, a 22-year-old woman is planning to marry the man convicted of killing her twin sister. The marriage between Edith Casas and Victor Cingolani, serving 13 years for the murder of Edith’s sister Johana, was scheduled for last Friday, but Edith’s mother requested a court-ordered psychiatric evaluation for her daughter.
Cingolani denies murdering Johana, and claims that while he was involved with both sisters, his relationship with Edith was the real deal. His beloved says the convicted killer is innocent, and is ”a guy who would not hurt a fly.”
Johana’s body was found in a field in summer of 2010. She had been shot twice. Her boyfriend, Marco Diaz, is also awaiting trial in her death.
