A $50,000 bond has been set for Holly Solomon, the angry Arizona woman who ran over her husband, Daniel, after finding out that, “He did not vote,” according to Sgt. Jesse Sanger of the Gilbert Police Department. “His wife just found this out and became very upset and it escalated from there.” Solomon reportedly got into the couple’s SUV and chased Daniel around the parking lot. She later told police that she was just trying to scare him and accidentally hit the accellerator. Well, scare him she did, according to multiple witness acounts she chased him around a light pole he was using as cover no less that 15 times before sucessfully pinning him under the SUV.
Daniel was admitted to a hospital in critial condition with a broken pelvis and torn arteries to his bowels. He faces the possibility of “permanent disfigurement.” Though Solomon was not at all impaired during the attack, it turns out that she is six months pregnant, which could explain her …mood swing. According to the police report Soloman blames Obama for her family’s financial problems, which will now no doubt be execerbated by her husband’s condition and her looming incarceration. Soloman is now charged with a total of three counts for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and reckless driving.

Angry Woman Runs Over Husband for Re-Electing Obama
November 12, 2012 7:03 PM By Cora Van Olson
When it comes to politics, it is often impossible to convince people when they are wrong. For example Maricopa County woman Holly Nicole Solomon, 28, who was arrested for running over her husband, Daniel Solomon, last week because he re-elected President Obama, was wrong on so many levels, and according to Gilbert police Sergeant Jesse Sanger was not impairedat all by drugs or alcohol at the time of the attack.
According to police, the ill-fated argument started in a parking lot on November 10, 2012. Witnesses later told police that the Solomons were just shouting at each other, until she got into her Jeep and began chasing her husband around the lot, still shouting at him. There is no mention of onlookers helpfully shouting explanations of the electoral system to Solomon as she zoomed around the parking lot, or singing School House Rock’s, “I’m Gonna Send Your Vote to College.” Nor does it seem that anyone told her that Obama lost Arizona altogether. If they did, it didn’t help.
Daniel Solomon tried to use a pole as cover for her first few passes, but finally decided to make a run for it. Mistake. That’s when she got him and pinned under the Jeep against a curb. Solomon was arrested on charges of domestic violence and aggravated assault. Daniel Solomon remains in critical condition at a local hospital.
