Police in Pensacola, Florida, have arrested Taquita Lashay Watson, 29, on charges relating to sexually assaulting an elderly bedridden woman, 106, in her care. According to the police report the victim, who “has no known mental health issues, and her mental capacity appeared to be fine,” spoke with police on November 1, 2012, to report Watson, whom she only knows as “Q,” for sexually assaulting her with a “peter,” aka a dildo, on October 26, 2012.

The report goes on the explain that “Q” pulled the dildo and a jar of Vaseline out of her purse, pulled down the victim’s pants and diaper, “and told her that this ‘would make her feel good.’ “Q” then attempted to force the dildo into [the victim's] vagina.” The victim “stated that she was screaming for Q to stop,” but was told by Watson that “all old people like it and it makes them feel good.” According to the victim, when Watson saw that the victim’s vagina was bleeding, she began to “cuss” at the old woman saying that she would “get it next time.” Adding, “if you tell anyone, I will hurt you.” The old woman told police that she was alone with Watson, and feared for her life. When she discovered that she was again to be left alone with Watson on November 1, she could no longer remain silent. A forensic vaginal exam revealed “obvious sign of trauma.” Watson was arrested and held in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

According to police, since Watson, who is employed by Interim HealthCare of Pensacola, has been caring for the elderly for eight years, it is now necessary to investigate further “to determine if anyone else may have been victimized.”
