California teen Diana Zamora Cardenas, 16, was last seen October 29 at her Hanford home with her month-old daughter, Davina Alcala. Police believe Cardenas, with infant in tow, may be on the run with Nicolas “Nico” Alcala, 19. Alcala, Cardenas’ boyfriend and the father of her baby, is wanted in a Fresno County homicide, police say. Alcala is a known gang member, say police, accused of killing 34-year-old Pedro Aispuro during a gang-related shooting in June. Police say he is considered armed and dangerous.
Police believe Cardenas left home willingly to flee to Mexico with Alcala and their child. Anyone with information about Cardenas’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Hanford Police Department at 1-559-585-2540 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
