A Colleyville, Tex., woman is charged with criminal mischief after allegedly leading a group of middle schoolers on a prank spree that police say caused $6,000 in damage. Authorities say┬áTara Mauney, 41, took a group of kids to Walmart on July 24, where they bought 108 rolls of toilet paper and took a group photo. Then, they allegedly used black markers, peanut butter, mustard and other materials to vandalize a house where a group of girls were having a sleepover. According to the Star-Telegram, the words “whore house” were written in marker on the outside walls, “sluts” was scrawled on the driveway in mustard, and two halves of a raw chicken were placed in the mailbox. Between peanut butter-coated pillars, a toilet bearing the words “suck it” sat in the driveway, menstrual pads covered in ketchup littered the yard and toilet paper hung from every tree and shrub.

Jodi Rishell, the owner of the vandalized home, told police that her daughter had several friends stay the night. The girls were swimming in the backyard pool at the time of the incident and got out in time to see a group of boys run away from the front yard. Mauney’s attorney claims that she was not present at the time of the vandalism and did not participate. Though several juveniles allegedly confessed their involvement, none have been charged. If convicted, Mauney could face up to two years in jail and a $10,000 fine.
