Sunday night, September 17, 2012, police in our nation’s capital were searching for a very young suspect in a robbery that occurred at a northeast D.C. MacDonald’s. According to police, around 6:30 p.m. three boys ages 6 or 7-14, approached a customer and started a verbal altercation. When the person pulled out their phone to call police, the youngest boys grabbed it and fled.

D.C. metro police described the suspect as “6-7 years of age, 4’0″, 100 lbs., wearing a white shirt and blk shorts.” Officers as well as residents of the neighborhood are mystified as to what could have prompted the child to commit the crime. D.C resident Charles Louis told, “It’s so scary for a 6-year-old to have that thought of mind.” Not surprisingly, people are also wondering who his parents are.

Anyone with information about this crime is urged to contact MPD investigators at (202) 727-9099.
