A California woman charged with murder in the death of Marine wife Brittany Killgore has reportedly delivered a baby. The San Diego Reader reported Monday that Dorothy Maraglino, 37, gave birth to a child fathered by Louis Perez, 46, who is also charged in Killgore’s slaying. Maraglino, Perez, and a third co-defendant, Jessica Lopez, 25, have all pleaded not guilty to murder. Last week, prosecutors filed additional charges of conspiracy to commit kidnapping, torture and sexually assault.

The body of 22-year-old Fallbrook, Ca., woman Brittany Killgore was found on April 17, three days after she was reported missing. Investigators say she had been planning to meet up with Perez for a dinner cruise the night she was killed. Prosecutors allege Perez, Maraglino and Lopez all lived together in a heavily-involved BDSM relationship, with Perez and Maraglino being the “Master” and “Mistress,” and Lopez their “slave.” After Killgore’s death, Lopez was found in a hotel room, sick from an alleged suicide attempt. In the room, police found a lengthy note she’d written in which she took the blame for the crime and stated that she was jealous that her “Master” was going out with Killgore. Despite Lopez’s alleged confession via the note, blood evidence found in Perez’s truck suggests that he participated in the killing, and that Lopez may have tried to take the blame as part of her “slave” role.
