Urologist Took Upskirt Videos, Police Say

He may not have been actively on the lookout for wrongdoers, but when New Life for Better Living Christian Center minister Sheldon Birthwright saw something creepy going on the southbound 4 train in NYC, he knew what had to be done. Birthwright, 46, told transit cops he saw a man holding a folded up newspaper with a pen camera attached to it under a woman’s skirt. “He kept moving the newspaper around, and there was a woman standing directly in front of him, and her back was turned to him,” Birthwright, a former TSA agent, told the New York Post. He followed the man off the train, and says he watched him film up the woman’s skirt all the way up the station steps. When he first alerted transit police, the suspect was nowhere to be found, but Birthwright saw him again on the L train platform in Union Square, allegedly continuing to make his illicit videos. This time, he was apprehended.

Police say the kinky cameraman turned out to be prominent Manhattan urologist Adam Levinson, 39. A search of his camera pen allegedly revealed several clips of the view from below a skirt-wearing woman. Levinson was charged with on charges of unlawful surveillance and harassment and released yesterday morning after posting $5,000 bail. He’s been suspended from his position at Mount Sinai Hospital pending an investigation.
