Police believe that Scottsdale, Ariz., man John Brigham, 45, was involved in two serious collisions, in two different stolen cars, in possibly the same hour. On Friday, June 29, 2012, Brigham allegedly crashed into another car seriously injuring the other driver. One car caught fire in the intersection, which is when witnesses called 911. At that time Brigham was seen stripping naked and running around the intersection. It’s possible his clothes were on fire, but that doesn’t explain what happened next. A male witness called 911 saying, “you’ve got to get the cops out here. I’m on the corner of Hayden and De Ventura and this guy’s nuts … This guy’s running around on the street naked!” A female witness also called 911 and told the dispatcher, “Omigosh, he’s naked crawling on top of these cars, omigosh!” At that point the nude Brigham had apparently crawled on several vehicles, and was dancing on top of a green one. He car jacked another vehicle, ejecting and injuring the driver, and was reported to police moments later speeding down another street the wrong way. There Brigham was involved in a four-car collision. Still naked, he allegedly tried to jack two other vehicles before being apprehended by police. He and several other people were rushed to local emergency rooms. None suffered life-threatening injuries, though a pregnant woman apparently had bother her legs broken in the accident. Police were unable to determine what had caused Brigham’s bizarre, violent behavior at the scene, but a blood draw taken at the hospital revealed the presence of PCP in his system. Brigham was charged with 15 felonies and two misdemeanors. His bond was set at $100,000.

Yaroslav Babenko

In Bandon, Oregon, a complete stranger showed up at a woman’s house, stripped and got in the hot tub with her, around 8 a.m. on June 28. The scared woman, 47, was apparently not ready to party, and as the intruder climbed in to the tub, she called 911. When she asked him to leave, he reportedly did not. The trespasser, later identified as Yaroslav Babenko, 37, was still soaking when deputies arrived. After forcibly removing him, he told them that he was on his way home to San Francisco, when he stopped in to use the hot tub, and that he had never been there before. He probably needed it; he looks  tired.
