Alleged Female Pedophile Cross Dresses for Underage Sex

Carissa Hads, aka James Puryear Wilson

Carissa Hads, aka James Puryear Wilson

Quincy, Mass., woman Carissa Hads has left many dumbfounded with her elaborate plan for getting sex from underage girls. Hads, 24, allegedly decided to impersonate an underage boy and get a girlfriend. She adopted the name James Puryear Wilson, 17, and found an interested girl, 15, on a social networking site in October 2010. Hads allegedly had profiles on both Facebook and Myspace, which have been taken down. The victim was able to arrange a meeting with Hads, through her own mother, who brought the girl and two other children, a girl, 15, and her younger brother, to a motel to meet “Wilson,” for the first time, and paid for Wilson to stay in his own room.

Police were alerted to Hads by a CyberTip they received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children claiming that Hads had threatened the life of the victim’s female friend when the friend questioned Hads’ true identity. Investigators quickly determined that the picture posted of “Wilson’s” sons was a fake. When questioned about the photo, Wilson told investigators that he didn’t want a real photo of his sons on the Internet. He also said he lived with his aunt Charissa Hads. Investigators compared photos of Hads and Wilson and determined that they were probably the same person.

Hads is accused of having had two sexual encounters with the girl, during which Hads never undressed, and wore a back brace to conceal her breasts. She allegedly digitally penetrated the victim in the first encounter at the motel. The victim’s mother advised police of the second encounter, which occurred in the victim’s home, and was videotaped. Hads apparently had used a flesh-colored “prosthetic penis” which she held during the act with the victim.

Hads was intercepted and arrested on May 24 while travelling to meet the girl for a third encounter. Hads is charged with coercion or enticement of a minor, a federal charge that carries a potential 30-year sentence. She has been ruled a flight risk and is being held without bond.
